Located in Bullet Tree Falls Village just 3 miles outside of San Ignacio Town the largest town in the west. There are currently three small grocery stores, several churches, a few bars and restaurants featuring local food such as garnaches, salbutes, panadas, beans and rice, and of course, pizza. Fresh hot corn tortillas are available daily, too.
Bus service and taxis pass by regularly. There is a growing community of ex-pats in this area as well. The Mayan ruins of El Pilar park are only a few miles up the road as is Xunantunich ruins with its tall temples overlooking the canopy below. Cahal Pech ruins are in San Ignacio 3 miles from here and the Guatemalan border is only 11 miles away for easy shopping in Melchor.
